World of Women in STEM (WOWIS) is a youth-led organization composed of female-identifying and gender-nonconforming high school and middle school students. Coming from countries across the globe, we host an online community of empowered students! With a wide range of interests in science, technology, engineering, and math, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to explore their potential and pursue STEM. We bring STEM education to the public through virtual competitions, guest speaker events, and informational panels. In our community, we empower each other and the public to pursue their interests despite previous challenges. We welcome all learning levels and backgrounds.
